Exhibitions “FOSILORAMA” and “MINERALIS – the Pelagonian Massif” now open

The exhibitions “FOSILORAMA” and “MINERALIS – the Pelagonian Massif” have opened at the Gallery of the Natural History Museum on Kalemegdan, produced with colleagues from the Natural History Museum of the Republic of North Macedonia in Skopje.

The collaboration is a further step in strengthening ties between kindred museum institutions and jointly presenting the rich geological and palaeontological heritage of the Balkans through an exchange of knowledge, experience, and collections.

“MINERALIS – the Pelagonian Massif” takes visitors through the geological past of one of North Macedonia’s most significant regions, revealing the beauty, diversity, and scientific value of the mineral world through original specimens, photographs, geological maps, and educational material.

“FOSILORAMA” uniquely joins science and art, presenting faithful sculptural reconstructions of fossil animals, field photographs, and stories that bring ancient organisms to life and introduce visitors to the work of palaeontologists.

We invite you to visit the exhibitions and discover the geological and palaeontological past of our region.

On view through mid-September.
