"Masters of the Depths – sharks and rays of the Adriatic Sea"
The sharks and rays of the Adriatic Sea have arrived in Belgrade.
The exhibition "Masters of the Depths – sharks and rays of the Adriatic Sea" has opened at the Gallery of the Natural History Museum on Kalemegdan, bringing the audience closer to the fascinating world of some of the oldest predators on the planet and their important role in maintaining the balance of marine ecosystems.
The exhibition has been organised in cooperation with @prirodnjackimuzejcg and represents the continuation of successful regional cooperation.
The public was addressed by Slavko Spasić, Director of the Natural History Museum in Belgrade, Stefan Ralević, the author, and Dr Natalija Čađenović, Director of the Natural History Museum of Montenegro, who officially opened the exhibition.
The display consists of dermoplastic specimens of sharks and rays from the Adriatic Sea, models of certain species, as well as educational content presenting the biology, diversity and importance of these often misunderstood animals.
We invite you to visit the exhibition and discover the world of the sea depths — the exhibition is open to the public until June.
