Glasnik

The first issue of the Natural History Museum's scientific journal was published in 1948 under the name GLASNIK OF THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM OF THE SERBIAN LANDS, series A – geological sciences, and the following year series B – biological sciences. From 1958 the journal title was changed to GLASNIK OF THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM.

From 1958 the journal title was changed to GLASNIK OF THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM.

The Museum of Forestry and Hunting was a separate institution that published its own scientific journal, GLASNIK OF THE MUSEUM OF FORESTRY AND HUNTING. After this museum was merged with the Natural History Museum in 1973, that journal continued to be published as Glasnik of the Natural History Museum series C – forestry and hunting, with the issue numbering continuing.

Under this name, the journal was published until 1998. Since 2008 the Natural History Museum has been publishing a new series of its scientific journal under the title BULLETIN OF THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM IN BELGRADE, in which series A and B have been merged into a single New Series.
